The arrow-type shortcuts (a brilliant feature by the way!) don't work for me from the 'now playing' view, but work ok from the playlist. My guess is that the tooltips make them unreachable.
Also, I'm still not able to use the <Disc #> tags for directories in 'tag from filename'.

The NP arrow shortcuts don't work when there are no matching tracks in the library i.e. when the NP track is not in the library. The fact these ones appear is I think a bug.fellow wrote:The arrow-type shortcuts (a brilliant feature by the way!) don't work for me from the 'now playing' view, but work ok from the playlist.

Right-clicking the arrow of the song that is currently playing (or of any song in the 'Now playing' view, selectable on the left panel above the library) shows me a menu with some amazon entries, google and wikipedia. No, had tried every combination already. Does it work for anybody when using it for a directory? What I'm doing is that files are sorted in directories named for examplefellow wrote:

Code: Select all
Great Album\Disc 1\01-track.mp3
Great Album\Disc 1\02-track.mp3
Great Album\Disc 2\01-track.mp3
Great Album\Disc 2\02-track.mp3
This method works fine for other tags, but not for Disc#.
Sorry, I assumed you were primary-clicking.fellow wrote:Right-clicking the arrow of the song that is currently playing
Same here. Definitely a bug ISTM.I've selected wikipedia. Clicking this arrow has no effect.
BTW, the design of these shortcuts really baffles me. Probably the most useful field to look up in wikipedia is Title, yet MM shows no shortcut on Title.

Trying... oh dear. Looks like the bug http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29675 .
Workaround: <Disc#:666>\

Thanks. Will be fixed in next release.fellow wrote:Right-clicking the arrow of the song that is currently playing (or of any song in the 'Now playing' view, selectable on the left panel above the library) shows me a menu with some amazon entries, google and wikipedia. Thanks for taking this up.
@chrisjj: I've noticed you made a couple of separate posts to break this strange behaviour down. Finally it makes sense. I've been baffled by this since I started using MM and assumed it was finally fixed. I'm hoping for the next release. (Although - I'm now through with properly tagging my files
