Hi!

I have the problem that, if I get it right, only Vista users should have.

The Script works fine, but when I click "Save checked images" it tells me "the MSInet component could not be found".

I reinstalled the VB Runtime files from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en
and I got me a msinet.ocx from here:
http://www.ocxdump.com/download-ocx-fil ... nload.html
which I registered after moving it to System32.

The script still doesn't work. Why?
Im Running it in MM3 on WinXP SP2.

As far as translating goes, I'm happy to do the same system with this script as I have with MonkeyRok, but you'd need to provide me with all the translation strings. If you're happy to, I'll PM you with the english strings for you to translate when I get round to it.
greetings to trixmoto,

Understand, is also no more problem for me, has found a way to find my pictures for every interpreter single. If I can help in the translation, I help with pleasure if I have time, it is not urgent in such a way.

Hi all,I have this problem:
I got almost all the covers on my librari,they appear good taken from amazon or google,perfect.
I synch my I pod,it synch new tracks and so on but not the covers.
With MM open on the upper part with my music folder I can see all covers,on the down window with Ipod very few covers also after synch.
I checked everything correct on options:device,syngh cover art folder.jog and so on but no way.No covers.
Any suggestion?
Thanx

I get the same problem - a work around is to delete all tracks from your ipod and then resync.

When I run Batch Art Finder it finds all missing artwork, but when I check and save the Albums I want it doesn't show up in MM3. Any suggestions?

What are your settings? Are you saving the images to tag or link or both? Also, what file type are your music files?

Doesn't download anything

Hi @all!

I have a strange problem. After solving the problem with registering the msinet.ocx on vista autimatically on script install (simply run mm3 as admin) the script runs fine - at first sight.

After searching album art for one album i checked the found cover and clicked on "save checked images". The button goes gray but nothing happened. In the config panel i set to download the file (no tag). File mask looks like this: "<path>\folder".
What could be the problem?

Hmm, not sure. Are you sure the component has been properly registered? What does the debug logfile say?

sorry if this has been answered already, but trying to read through 41 pages is a little daunting :)

Is it possible to tell it what size images to grab? like say large (300x300 or bigger)?

I activated the debug mode in the vbs file but the script didn't create a log file.
Then i uninstalled BAF and reinstalled the whole thing. There's still no log file. I created one by my own (BatchArtFinder.vbs.log) but the script still don't write in the file. No error msg btw.
The script finds the correct cover and i choose to save it in tag for now - but all he adds is the "none.jpg" which is the only thing that works for now.
Weired!?

@excaluber - yes, check out Tools > Options > BatchArtFinder Settings.

@th80 - the logfile should appear in your windows temporary directory (%temp%) I believe.

I found the logfile. But there is not much information in it:

Code: Select all

Batch Art Finder started...
(Selected albums)
AlbumID=1025
AlbumID=1164
Total=2
***424 - Objekt erforderlich (Laufzeitfehler in Microsoft VBScript)
***File 'Z:\VA_OST\OST - Code 46 (2004)\folder.jpg' was missing.
***424 - Objekt erforderlich (Laufzeitfehler in Microsoft VBScript)
***File 'Z:\ABCDE\Erlend Oye - Unrest\folder.jpg' was missing.
How can i adjust the debug level to get more information on the 424 runtime error?

The problem is that the file is not being successfully created. This could be because the script does not have permission to write to this folder.
