I create a lot of playlists and export most of them to an m3u playlist for use on my squeezebox(allows me to stream music round the house).
I would like an option with 1 click to export a playlist to an .m3u playlist to a specified folder(folder chosen by default after 1st export) and automatically named the same as the name of the playlist I am exporting.

Re: Ability to Export playlists to M3U to a specified folder
Trixmoto's backup script can already export all of your playlists to a specified folder on startup and/or on shutdown of MM.

I would also like an option in MediaMonkey settings:
to set the default save path for internal-MM3 playlists
or
import + automatically update/save changes of playlists in their current folder
because everytime when I
=> create a clean install or
=> MM3 crashed somehow unluckily
the "internal" playlists can be damaged or are completely lost!

Re: Ability to Export playlists to M3U to a specified folder
thank you nohitter151, I'll give it a shot!
EDIT:
ok I've installed the script (Backup v5.1.mmip), looks pretty good, the only problem is that it doesn't execute the backup, because it requires Windows Scripting Host to be enabled all the time.... I've some other scripts which work fine without Windows Scripting Host.
The second problem appears when I enable Windows Scripting Host: the backup process terminates with a runtime error (Line 427, character 13, invalid argument, Code 800A0005).
So an internal (hardcoded MM3) implementation of this script would be preferable (no WSH requirements).
Thanks for trying to help during the meantime anyway.
