Done! I've created a ticket with the log and comments: TLX-298227. I hope it helps.

I have this same issue, except that I only experience the erroneous level upon USB sync to another device!!! And only on certain songs... I have correctly modified all the songs, but cannot get the correct volume to play on the sync'd device... the device plays 95% of other songs at the correct level, but every one in a while, there is a song that is sync'd and plays 200% louder than the others...

Florin,
Thx. We'll look into this further.

Lela,
If there's anything else you can tell us about the tracks that fail to level on the device, that would be helpful.
-Do the tracks that don't play at level volume on the device have leveling coefficients attached?
-Assuming yes, do the tracks that don't play at level volume on the device, play at level volume on the PC?
-Do the tracks in question have any specific characteristics?

Thx.

here's a question for both rusty and anyone who CAN replicate the issue.

when you copy in the files to the monitored directory so that they are then automatically added to the DB and auto analyzed.... where do you copy / move them from and how many files are you copying / moving.

This is important because if you're moving across the same drive.. it'll happen very quickly and therefore be add to the database all at the same time.
But if you are copying, or moving across different drives, it will take long and half the album might be added into the DB before the rest of the album has even finished copying.
as such,t he number of files you are moving might affect it as only a couple of files will probably move quick enough in any condition to be added all at once.

All my tests were done by moving files within the same drive. And just to make sure, I disabled File Monitor, moved the files, then use Add/Rescan Folders a few seconds after the transfer completed. The problem was still there, so there must be something else.
It's interesting that the 2 columns (Track & Album Volume) are filled in correctly, but playback just ignores them. It looks like the files are analyzed but they are not marked as such in the database.

This should be fixed in the next build.
