Rating - Selection Criteria

Post by Nethers »

Would it be possible to add a 'not equals' (<>, !=) to the ratings selection drop down?

To give some context to the question, I've got a 'Never Played' playlist set up that generates a random 650MB auto playlist that lets me listen to tracks that I've not heard based on Played# <1

As the tracks run through I'll skip the songs I don't like & rate them as 0 stars, but skipping the track keeps the Played# < 1, so they keep re-appearing on the random list.

You can't use a rating criteria of >= 0.5 because any unplayed song will have a 'Null' rating and will be excluded.

Hmmm, Indeed interesting Unknow rating have value of '-1'. Have you tried to make two Playlists with same values but with only one difference:
1. Rating >= 0.5
2. Radting = Unknown

At least until something similar is possible in single List.

Using the Rating = Unknown worked, though I had to manually run a list to find the (30 or so) tracks that had a rating with a playcount < 1 and reset their property to Rating = Unknown.

Many thanks.
