Playlists and Advanced Duplicate
Is there any way for me to see whether a track is included in a playlist when viewing tracks in the main library screen. I have a up to 2k dupes to delete but want to delete only the dupes that arent in any of my playlists. Cant seem to find the right tab/column in the filter view popup.

No, the only way to see the playlists that a track is on is under the classification tab of the properties panel. You can have a modal properties panel (so it doesn't steal focus away from the main MM window) by going to View | Properties.

thanks. got it. Quite a pain to launch the classification window every time I want to delete a track. The back and forward buttons at the bottom of the classification window are nice but you cant delete a track without shutting this window first. The kluge is to use the classification window to move through my entire list of potential dupes, add a common word to one of the Custom boxes on the classification page, then sort when I am done and delete the list.

You can, that's what I meant about using View | Properties.boulderado wrote:thanks. got it. Quite a pain to launch the classification window every time I want to delete a track. I didn't know that. Thanks nohitter.
Re: Playlists and Advanced Duplicate
adding a column that shows what playlists a track is on is now a wishlist item - to show that you want this feature in a new mediamonkey version, please vote for it here:

You could use Bex's Playlist in Main Window script to easily see if the tracks are in a playlist.
