1190/1209 WMA tag write failure on Win XP SP2 [#005571]

If you installed SP3, then your installation is not SP2. SP2 is Microsoft Windows Version 5.1 (Build 2600.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158 : Service Pack 2)

Isn't that why we are here?

I looked about MS statistics and less and less users use SP2 due the fact that lots of newer programs take advantage of SP3 fixes/upgrades.

For a workaround? I'd say no. For a fix? I'd say yes.

I am surprised to hear that. I do not recall seeing a single app that has SP3 as minimum requirement, and of the 30 or so apps I use none TMK are particularly advantaged by SP3.

I encounter few Coding Apps, but most apps that uses min SP3 are games, I think that compatibility pack for office 2003 to load office 2007 documents needs SP3 but I'm not sure.
