I have discovered this bug while checking my library for "Unsynchronized Tags"
I have a lot of vinyl rips in my collection, and I tag the track numbers according to the way they are labelled on the vinyl, meaning that sometimes I use not only numbers, but also letters, like A, AA, A1, A2, B1, ... etc. for the different tracks. This works fine in general, right down to sorting and everything.
However, one of my tracks keeps popping up in Unsynchronized Tags. It is from a vinyl which has respective track numbers X1, Y1 and Y2. The two tracks on the Y side work fine, but the X1 track always shows up in Unsynchronized Tags. It does not disappear from there if I tell MM3 to synchronize the tags. External software confirms that the track number tag indeed is set to 'X1'.
It seems that MM3 erroneously marks the track number field as unsynchronized if it contains, or starts with, the letter X.
