Shoutcast opens a internet explorer shoutcast homepage

I have the new release installed. Whenever I search for a link for Jazz play for example, a list of jazz sites appear. On clicking on what I wanna listen to, it does not play in the MM3.1 window but a new window opens in IE . How can I go about it so that is plays right in the MM3.1 like it used to do?

Have .PLS filetype associated with MM.
Tools|Options|File types.

Nothing changes. I did what you suggested but it's still the same. Anymore suggestions? Please help!

What happens when it opens in IE and you click on "Tune in"?
Does it play in MM or any other player?

PLS file type might probably be associated with another software (WMP?) or maybe with an IE plugin?
Try disabling association in other software.

Have you set Shoutcast to play with an external software?
Click "Configure default player" (top right of Shoutcast web page).
