Here's another build with a few more fixes--including some major ones such as Network optimization and improved installation of extensions on Vista (provided the .mmip is downloaded from the MediaMonkey web site).

MediaMonkey 3.1.0.1247 (RC-2)

Hi,

Here's MediaMonkey 3.1 Release Candidate 2. It includes fixes to all replicable severe issues, and will be released following a short validation period. During the validation period we'll try to fix a few more remaining issues that are either severe but not replicable to-date, or very low risk/cosmetic.

Here's a new build to play with. It fixes many of the issues that came up in RC-2, but isn't yet ready for release, as we still want to resolve a few more issues that are either severe but not replicable to-date, or very low risk/cosmetic. Note that this build has undergone minimal testing.

MediaMonkey 3.1.0.1256 Release

Hi,

This is to announce that MediaMonkey 3.1.0.1256 has just been released. The only changes compared to RC-3 are listed here.

This release is a huge improvement over 3.0.7, and a large measure of this is because of all of your efforts. Thank you to all our beta testers for the countless hours you've spent testing and analyzing bugs, reporting them, and verifying that our fixes work. Thank you also to our translators who spent many hours getting 3.1 ready for various locales, and to scripters and artists for various contributions. Lastly, thank you to the rest of my team mates, all of whom put in incredible efforts to make this release happen. This was a long haul (much longer than I'd expected), but I think it's worth it.

Moving forward, we expect to start work on:
-a near term release for device support and a few bug fixes to 3.1.0
-a long term release that adds some major new features (we'll be reviewing the wishlist, buglist, and sharing plans on Mantis)
-deploying the (long-delayed) scripts repository

MediaMonkey 3.1.1.1259 (RC)

Hi,

Here's MediaMonkey 3.1.1 Release Candidate. It includes one fix only - the fact that Auto-tag from Web stopped working recently, due to some changes on Amazon servers. Since this is quite unpleasant problem for many of our users, we decided to make a special new release for this purpose.

Hi,

Here's MediaMonkey 3.1.1 Release Candidate 2. Although the previous fix in Release Candidate 1 worked on many machines, there were still some users reporting the problem. So we made some improvements and hopefully it will work for everyone now.
