Special Characters

I am using 3.1.1.1261 on Windows Vista 32-bit and I have noticed that with this release, I am no longer able to enter special characters into fields using the Alt + #### shortcut. I can open up the character map and copy/paste them in, but I really, really could use this shortcut functionality back.

It will be fixed when 3.1.2 is released:
