1256 My Computer playlist Send to device fails [#5950]

Post by chrisjj »

1 In My Computer mode, right-click a playlist
2 Click Send to... device (tested here on a mapped (SUBST) drive.

Expected: playlist and tracks are sent
Observed: only tracks are sent.

Note: Expected behaviour is observed in the case of #1 On Playlists node, right click a playlist.

Does this mean that the sent playlist is now directly part of the autosync subset?

If so that would be absolutely brilliant, I've been asking that for years.

Sorry, no. It means only that when one goes to a playlist under My Computer and does "Send to" a device e.g. http://i.imgur.com/AH7fdDN.png, the playlist does there and then get sent to the device.

This is independent of auto-sync. The next auto-sync with "[x] Delete other files and playlists from the device" will remove that playlist from the device.

I see your https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... =4&t=26620 . I agree it would be good to have command on playlists in the media tree to add and remove from the auto-sync list. Meanwhile, while not as accessible, the device profile UI for for auto-sync playlists has in MM4 become more accessible and more usable for doing the same thing.
