Hide other tracks in search

Post by 91falk »

Hey!
I have a little problem with searching in the Playlist.
If I search for something, the other songs are not hided (like the search in the library do).
So if I search for an Track and i only know the beginning, there may be the wrong song selected and the searched song is anywhere esle...
I hope you understand my opinion.

By "Playlist," do you mean the Now Playing node? If so, this is because the function of that node is to indicate what is playing and what will be played. Hiding songs via a search defeats the purpose of this node. However, if you type in your search and it finds a result that isn't the one you're looking for, hit enter and it'll perform a "Find Next" operation essentially. Thus, it will select the next match, rinse and repeat until you find what you're looking for.

But it's not so comfortable to hit Enter 100times...
Hiding songs via a search defeats the purpose of this node.
Why that?
It should hide the songs only for the search.
This should make nothing with the playing order.

Of course i could search in the library but then the song is twice in the Playlist :/
f so, this is because the function of that node is to indicate what is playing and what will be played. Hiding songs via a search defeats the purpose of this node.
I only use shufflemode so the purpose is already defeated.
