It's fixed in 1237 which is not released yet...

Issue confirmed fixed here using the 1237 release.

This issue has returned in releases 1242 1244 and 1247. Album art for the last played title before closing Media Monkey does not appear after restarting the program. In my database, all images are linked to the titles.

I can reproduce this consistently, using Win XP Home SP3, in now playing node. The album art does show up in other nodes, e.g. searching for the track (search results node) and album node, but it won't show in now playing (neither in the player nor in album art pane nor in song properties). Debug log seems uninteresting.

Are you referring to the fact that upon restarting MM, when Now Playing node is in focus and view=Album Art + Details, that MM switches to Details view?

Forget it--I can reproduce the problem (I was testing with embedded art instead of linked album art).
