I decided to start over, and deleted the DB, that *seems* to have fixed it-- but it does seem to me a problem other people besides me have had, although mine was definately a more extreme case.GRW wrote:Say I have a playlist of 10 tracks and hold shift down and select tracks 4,5 and 6 and click delete from the playlist. I often find that track 7 will also have been deleted from the playlist even though it wasn't selected or highlighted. I don't know why this happens but the poster may have noticed tracks missing if this was done a lot although it seems to be more a problem with the lists themselves.
In my case, it wasn't an issue of 'delete 4,5,6 and 7 vanishes too', it was more 'delete track #3475, tracks 01-3350 vanish too' - never the same number of tracks, and although 'undo' would bring them back, sometimes simply shifting to another track would erase them from the playlist again. Whether it was on normal play mode or shuffle didn't matter, though if it was on shuffle it was always a section of tracks before the current playing track-- if it was on normal mode, it was a random block. (And every once in a while, they'd vanish on starting MM if i closed it and restarted it.(
I'm going to chalk it up to a corrupted DB, since it seems to have been fixed after I deleted the DB and started from scratch (which is annoying!)-- but if it happens again, I'll post back, and see what I can do about figuring out how to manually reproduce it.
