Lyricator - Batch Lyrics Updater v1.00 [OUTDATED]

just a short bugreport:
When i try to insert lyrics using Lyricator in more than one file at the same time, then all files get the songtext from the first song. If I try it another time, right after trying the first time, everything works fine. The problem existed with all versions of lyricator i used till now. I'm using MM 3.2.0.1294 and the newest Lyricator, OS is Windows 7 x64 Home Premium.
If you need further information, just put your hand up I'll do my best. Hope you can understand my description ^^

Thanks. I have this on my list, but unfortunately, have not seen the symptom myself.

Working on adding some debug features to next release which will hopefully get to the bottom of the problem.

Okay, fine, i'll keep my eyes on this thread, thanks for your work

EDIT: I tried some more combinations, now it never fills in the lyrics if I try to work with more than one song...it displays the found lyrics as usual, but when i try to save them, nothing happens. Quite interesting: As i tried just one song, everything works fine...even restarting my computer does not help. I HATE interesting problems...

This is an alpha version of the next release. More work & testing required
prior to general release.

This version creates a "...\Scripts\Lyricator\Lyricator.log" which I can use to trace and hopefully reproduce your problems. The log can be large, so the fewer tracks in the test the better.

When using this I get a security warning, but though it works. Quite strange, when i tried it first it did nothing at all, it didn't even create a log at all. But when i tried a single track, there was a log created, and the script worked as intended. And from then it worked fine even with more than a single track. I'll keep testing tomorrow, then i will upload some logs, too. For today, gn8

Lyricator 1.0.2 Build 7
- Added Lyricator log
- Added Lyricator item to Track List and Now Playing context menu
- Fixed Count in Saving Progress Bar
- Fixed handling when no tracks selected
- Fixed Permission Denied from alpha version

MediaMonkey should be restarted after installing this release.

A new log file is created as "...\Scripts\Lyricator\Lyricator.log" each time Lyricator is run.
This log is needed to review any of the other reported, but unreproduced problems.

Okay ... some information for ya when using this latest version:

When I select Lyricator this way:



It works beautifully, no problems.

However, if I select it this way:



I get the following error:



And selecting it from Tools -> Scripts gives me this error:



Clicking 'Ok' on that error gives this one:




It's not a problem for me since I can just select it like in the first image but thought you'd like to know about these errors.

"Right Click For Scripts" is not working with this script.





I also get the same error messages as Vyper from the "Tools" Menu.

@Vyper,Dypsis- Thanks. Added to list to fix for next release. I have been using only the right-click option since I merged the code into the script.

Need to do some research, e.g. I currently don't use Right Click for Scripts.

Edit: One obvious option is to remove the context menu code in Lyricator and make sure that this script works with "Right Click for Scripts" script. I have noticed some other problems with the "new" code.
- Duplicate item in context menu on second install of script
- Not working from Now Playing

Hey Owyn, sent you a mail...thanks for this specific support...
I get an error everytime i try to access the script, but by clicking okay ist continues to work as intented. I made a screenshot of the Message, but I cannot really translate it into English...says something about an ActiveX-Element not being secure in combinationn with other elements on this page. That Error didn't occur with the last release...

The ActiveX message is a Windows security alert. I had the same problem with Monkey Rok.

Any chance of it supporting asian characters? (Korean, Japanese & chinese) to the search engine?

In theory, all the languages mentioned should already be supported.
In practice, I have had no test data to confirm this.
