Problems with library and minilyrics

I have been using MM for years and it is mostly my son that uses it.

I have Windows 7, it crashed, but most of my music have been backed up. I store it on the D drive, and with a previous post can access the music.

First problem: The music does not show in the library, but I can play any song.

Secondly: Minilyrics doesnt work. I found the some lyrics on the C drive and move them to Music in the D Drive, but it does not show up.

I am quite sure it will just be a few very obvious settings! I tried to Google this pm, but could not fix it.

Tools > Options > Appearance
Is '[ ] Show tracks in the library node' checked?

Re: Minilyrics - does Minilyrics open when you open MM? (check the icons in the taskbar) If so, right click the Minilyrics icon, make sure the skin is set to "Plain" and right click > Preferences > Advanced > UI: Window opaque percent is set to 100

Then restart MM.

Yes, it was checked

It does open with MM, with that ad that one has to close.

I had to change the skin to plain, but the opaque percent was set at 100%

I could however change the destination of the lyrics to the D drive.

I do however have MM Gold 3.1.2.1266. Should I upgrade, as the icon of Minilyrics have changed.

Yes you should update to 3.2.

Yes, I updated, but no difference.

Perhaps I should start all over again, uninstall and install the latest versions.

It is just odd...!!!

I uninstalled everything and installed MM 3.2.1.1297 the free version; Minilyrics embedder and MiniLyrics 7.0.604.

One problem is solved! All the tracks show in the library, so we are winning BUT Minilyrics is the same, still blank. I made sure

the skin is set to "Plain" and right click > Preferences > Advanced > UI: Window opaque percent is set to 100

, but no luck. With the previous version it always worked.

When I installed Minilyrics, I only ticked MM and no other player as I do not use other players for music.

Any ideas anyone- it must be a setting somewhere

Does Minilyrics open at all? Is there any error message?

Just after I installed it yesterday, I closed MM, when I opened MM, it gave me the usual question, do you want to buy, etc. This morning however, this is what I got:


But it shows the minilyrics panel and under "view" it shows the icon.



Could it be a Windows 7 issue? The embedder is v1.4b

Is Minilyrics (not the embedder, but Minilyrics itself) actually installed?

I re-installed everything and it is working now!
