Hi,
I'm wondering if filters (Gold version) can do something I'm interested in. I sort of have 3 separate lumps of music on my server. I have my regular mp3s, I have 1800 tracks that I recorded from my vinyl, and I have a bunch of new music. I like to keep these separate, otherwise it becomes difficult for me find what I want. For example, my recorded tracks are not grouped together in albums and if these tracks are in the "main" library, everything disperses.
So I was wondering if I can use filters to choose my separate "lumps"? For example, if I click the "mp3" filter, it filters out everything except for tracks in /server/mp3/. Or if I select the "vinyl" filter, it filters out everything except for tracks stored in /server/recorded/flac.
If the filters do work as above, does the library explorer still function as it does normally only that it removes all the data that was filtered out?
thanks
can filters mimic multiple libraries?

Yes. You can filter on path in this case.
