What skin are using? Are you sure the boxes aren't partially checked (this would be different from skin to skin.. but usually shows as a box inside the check box or similar).

Re: Tree Node Continually Show Up
At the moment I'm using Noir Grey. I've noticed that all boxes are blue inside. The first click in the box removes the blue and reveals a check mark. Second click removes the check.
Just created a brand new filter. The nodes that show up, even though I unchecked them, are Location, Artist & Album Artist, Net Radio, and Find More From Same.
I right cliced in the Tree Node, navigated to Edit Filters, clicked each of them three times (once adds blue box, once reveals check, once to eliminate check), clicked OK. Only Net Radio disappeared. So, that's another verification that any that are left have to be removed one at a time.
Sad news is that upon closing and reopening MM, Net Radio reappeared along with Web.
A side note that I think I mentioned earlier, I keep getting an error concerning ABackup. This just started when I renamed the ini yesterday.

Sounds like the Backup script is causing this.rrfpacker wrote: A side note that I think I mentioned earlier, I keep getting an error concerning ABackup.

I would agree that it may be creating the new problem, but could it have started the problem? Sooo, what do I do next? I know next to nothing about how to fix stuff, so I need a little direction.
Thanks again for everyone's help.

Hello rrfpacker,
If you want to pinpoint if it's because of a script. You can rename your script folder to scriptoff and see if the problem persist.

That did it. Thank you. Now does that mean I need to do the same thing with each script until the behaviour stops? And then I suppose I would uninstall the script and reinstall?

Re: Tree Node Continually Show Up
Update on the Tree Node problem. I may need to post this in a new thread.
I've given up on this for the forseeable future. I have Vista and the hassle of changing each script's name to xxxxoff and back again is a pain. I'll live with it for now.
However, I think changing the MM ini has created other issues. It seems as though renaming the MM ini as suggested earlier to "start" MM again caused the ini to be saved on the C drive instead of the normal R drive (a portable hard drive). If my computer is turned off I can open MM once, if I close and reopen I get an error message "There was a problem updating database to the newest version". Also, top two lines of the settings in my Backup script have changed to the C drive instead of the R drive (Sorry, I don't know exactly what they say as I can't get MM open and I want to finish this post). And I still have the aforementioned error message about permission denied for the ABackup2.
I'm sure there is an easy solution to this, but I'm quite computer illiterate and still don't understand the workings of MM.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Tree Node Continually Show Up
MediaMonkey probably recreated the MediaMonkey.ini in the default place. You should be able to move it back to the R drive.
Scripts that store data in the MediaMonkey.ini would also have been reset, which is probably what you're experiencing.

Re: Tree Node Continually Show Up
Seems to me I can either copy the MM ini on the C drive to the R drive (where it is supposed to be) or find/replace all references to C: to R: in the one on the C drive. I'll wait to see if anyone verifies before doing either one. Then I need to work on the other issues.
Re: Tree Node Continually Show Up
You should be able to move the ini file back to R and you would need to change any incorrect references to C, but you can also do this from the scripts settings.
