iPod Touch crashes MM

Hoping it would solve the problem as recommended by others, I've reinstalled QuickTime. That didn't work. As soon as MM starts, if the iPod is connected or immediately after connecting, MM crashes with the following detail from Windows. Of note, all works fine in MM 4beta. Any ideas?

Do you have iTunes installed?

Of note, all works fine in MM 4beta. Any ideas?

Then there is not much to do as it is already fixed apparently.

Yep, iTunes 10 is sitting (mainly) idle. I don't understand why MM3 won't tolerate the iPod connection when MM4 seems to play fine. Looks like I'll be migrating a little prematurely. Thanks again for your help.
