1349: pulse icons messed up in properties window [#7422]

There was no bug assigned to that issue, I don't really have a problem with using the same icon for both.

And I agree it needs update and I provided a replacement icon with a download link.

Well, I do have a problem with that.

There is no similarity between "statistics" and "collections" icons.

Right now "edit collection" use an icon that doesn't represent the function.
Which is a basic requirement for any program interface!

He meant update it because it looked bad (eg outdated/antialiasing issues).

Anyway I think my icon fits well enough for both.

It has the same gradient/style/borders/anti-aliasing/shadow than any other icons in the pulse set.

He said mine was outdated and yours looked bad (not antialiased) in the older build. You even showed that in the first post of this thread. http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 76#p288331

And yes, I'm sure. I exchanged emails with him about it.

Anyways if you think we need a new icon, we should open a new bug for it. But I don't really see that it's necessary. Even your icon works for both locations (the notepad one).

So to be clear. Does the design of the "notepad" icon look bad?
Or was it because of the anti-aliasing rendering issue I reported in this thread. And it looks ok now?

As for the different icon. I think it's worth to be reported. A collection and a statistic/text file is two different things.

1363 pulse skin: the icon in front of "Scan continuously"
and the one in front of "Scan at startup" are not rendered correctly.


Could someone reopen the ticket with this new information?

Are you sure your screenshot is from 1363 ? I've tried PTBR with latest build and there's much more space for checkboxes than in your shots.
Also what icons problem ? I don't see any difference between them.

That's because I used a screenshot from gege of a previous build.

But the problem is still in 1363. The icons looks aliased because the alpha channel is broken.
It's the same issue that happened with the other icons in this thread. But I didn't notice that it was broken in that particular dialog till now.
