Video Playback Problem [#7869]

Hi:

i have several videos (wmv) that play for a few seconds and then MM marks them as played. These files play fully outside of MM, are there any tips of things I can check to see if the problem is with the files or mm4?/

Do they play in WMP?

Sounds like something in MM then, they use the same codecs to decode video.

Check whether the option is not turned on "Enable Bookmarking".

Option-Player-Playback Rules-Video (or Music Video)

It is turned on, all four options are checked, should I un-check any of them??

"Enable Bookmarking" - starts playback from the location where you last stopped playback

I tried one of the files on my work computer and it stops in the same spot as it does on my home computer. At first I thought it might be a script causing the problem so I removed all the scripts but the same problem occurs. You can download the file from here, this one stops after a few seconds. But the same thing occurs with all the problem files they just stop after different points but always the same spot.
