Whenever I sync my zen my playlists show up on the sync list as items that need to be removed, although these playlists are the selected playlists to be synced during an autosync. My playlists are synced to the \My Playlists\ directory on the zen, how do I get these to not show up on the sync list?
There was also a major regression causing the auto-sync list to not properly reflect what had been selected/deselected by the user. I suspect that this may have been the root of the problem. The issue was fixed in build 1381.
I think I might have gotten some corruption on my player after a recent crash, once I re-formatted it and ran my tests again all was well, at least as far as this error is concerned.
I have my device setup with @86 music playlists and 1 playlist of videos. Whenever I right click on my device to autosync it goes through the process and on the delete list most of the playlists show up as not being on the autosync list. I have checked the settings again and these playlists are still selected on the device settings. As a side note I have the scan when device is connected option unchecked so I am unsure if this is affecting the sync. At first I thought this might be due to something changing between builds but I completed wiped my player and resynced all the tracks/playlists in 1384 so these have all been put on the device by 1384. If you want I can take screen prints of my selected playlists and settings.
Here are pics of playlists which are set to sync to my device and the delete list that includes those playlists. You can download a copy of my device file from here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13254132/Zen32D ... ofile.mmdc
I don't have Zen vision, but with Zen X-Fi and iPod I cannot reproduce the problem (tested build 1385).
Couldn't it be somehow caused that you have synced more same named playlists?
To be sure, try it only with 1 playlist checked.
That does not make a difference the playlists still show up, also this is not the Zen Vision, it is the X-Fi that I am having trouble with. If it helps a copy of my db can be downloaded from here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13254132/mm.db
BTW, as of 1388 this problem is back and has been persistent in every build since 1388, this occurs whether I sync with a re-formatted Zen X-fi or with subsequent syncs.
A question, while running the debug for my zen I noticed that the playlists on the log all have the *.pla extension whereas they do not in MM, could this be why MM4 is seeing them as playlists that are not on the autosync list??
