It would be nice to have an option in MediaMonkey to configure how it performs a drag and drop from one playlist to another. Now, the song(s) is (are) moved instead of copied. I often move songs from a playlist I am listening to to another one, while the intent was a copy operation. The original playlists then becomes incomplete or messed up. A checkbox option could prevent users from doing that, for instance: "Drag and drop from playlist is move/copy (let the user decide)".
Thanks.

Re: Drag/Drop from playlist to playlist: move or copy
Thanks for the quick reply. I am testing MM4 but did not test this yet. I'm happy it is always a copy, which is safer.

And while holding down the Shift button you can still force a move instead of copy.

YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!!!!!
As you can tell I don't do this often but when I do it has been REALLY annoying me. I have playlists listed in 700mb sizes for MP3 discs for the car (plus 5 hours should be enough for any home need)!! Every now and again I like to jazz it up a bit and bring together certain songs so the copy was infuriating....I had to use the track properties option to see which had duplicated playlists and delete the incorrect one! I did this a couple of years ago and could find this answer now it was the top search! I'm so happy, thank you. Roll on summer!!!!
