remote/media share with android upnp leads to crash

hello,

i tried the media sharing feature mm 4 beta. great! i use it with 2 different remote apps for android - bubble upnp player and upnp play

problem: after changing a song for a few times (5 or 6 perhaps) mm4 freezes. i think, in both cases that happened, while mm was adding the libary from my nas (as defined in the media share options).

that happened on a netbook and on a core i5 laptop, i don't think, it depends on the computer itself. i played 192kbit mp3 and flac in mix one time (bubble upnp) and only mp3 at the other time.

what further informations do you need? i have no debug-version installed yet

perhaps you can reproduce the problem at this time?

I'm not able to reproduce this issue with GoodPlayer on an iPad 2/iPhone4 nor with ML player lite on iPhone4. Also not with Playstation 3.

Yes, you need to install DBGView and the debug version of MediaMonkey as per instructions linked.

I have the same issue with BubbleUPnp, foobar2000 and WMP12. MM freeze after 5 or 6 songs played or if you change rapidly between track.

I don't see any improvement regarding the crashes in build 1442.

The crashes are often an HEAP_CORRUPTION on ntdll relating to UpNp!RunUPNPServer

Thanks, although I haven't reproduced it, there was really a memory allocation problem that causes the heap corruption for you.
