Minimize /MP4 Broken After Hibernate

Post by choke »

I hibernate my Win 7 machine.

After coming back from hibernation, I am unable to minimize the Media Monkey window UNLESS I go to options and change the skin, then minimize. Changing to another skin and back will work too.

MP4 video files that are playing before hibernate also do not play properly after coming back.

Hi Choke,

What build number are you using? This particular issue did occur in earlier builds, but should have been resolved since.

Note: the latest build is 1456 (RC-4).

Thanks.

hmm... I can't reproduce, but there was another report of this problem by someone else.

Can you please send a debug log generated with dbgview?

Thanks.

Hi,

I'm also having the problem that the MM window is maximised after resuming from Hibernation under Windows 7 even if it was previously minimised. It is then not possible to minimise it until I have done something like change to the MiniPlayer and back to the normal window. I'm running MM version 4.0.2.1462. There was no problem prior to installing this version (I think I was previously running 1461 according to the Install file that I've still got lying around).

I will try and create a debug log, but not sure how this will work when entering / resuming from Hibernation?

Regards,

Thomas

this problem happens also after i open a FULLscreen game that changes the resolution.
basically i click the minimize button to no avail, the player remains on desktop, covering it.

MY SOLUTION:

before i open the game , or in your case hibernate, i switch mediamonkey to microplayer

then after the game, u can restore full player mode, and it should retains ability to minimize.

works for me, hope it works for u,

john
