This forced my hand to try another sync solution. What I landed on was an app called Samba Filesharing:
https://market.android.com/details?id=c ... nNhbWJhIl0.
This (as you would expect Samba to do), when enabled will broadcast as a windows server share, so it can be mapped to drive letter by any PC on the network. From there, I simply mapped it to my PC, but mounted from the media directory so the scanning is a lot quicker (5 seconds, or less). I configured the drive in MM4 (thanks, lowlander), and now I'm able to sync via wifi.
Great for so many reasons... the app has a whitelist capability, so it will only enable for specific networks. This allows it to always be on for my network, but never when I'm away. I can sync while it sits in the charging dock, or even while I'm watching a video while on my treadmill
Really happy with this as a solution. Recommending you try it if you have an Android device.
