Major issues with the newest version

From what I can tell you have the settings correct and MM should only be auto-syncing anything you change. If that's not happening, then as he said, you need to send a debug log.
Re: Major issues with the newest version
In my case (capacity ipod is 148.8 GB, audio selected 176.9 GB) I do not get an error message, since all files I have is about 120GB. I have selected several playlist and all accessible tracks, so maybe MM summarizes it all together?Lowlander wrote: The fact that it shows more audio than device can hold and the strange way information is presented in this dialog has been discussed before:

See:
As you can see Audio is way larger than Device Capacity as I've select way more files to be synced than the Device can hold. This doesn't mean files won't be synced though, but you'll see a warning about exceeding Device Capacity and be asked to continue or not. If you continue it will sync whatever it can.
I did it just before I left on a trip yesterday. Will let you know if it helped when I'm back.rrfpacker wrote:I deleted all music on each device and started over. Small price to pay to use the excellent Media Monkey.
Re: Major issues with the newest version
sync was OK, both ratings and last played were updated for all played files
So probably deleting everything from the ipod and syncing from the start was the solution

solved > full resynch on android
ok guys i think i found out what issued the complete android resynch here.
when mm is running and i plug the device, mm will immediately try accessing the storage, whether the system can access it or not.
so it finds nothing.
when enabling data transfer on the device (mm still running) and browse the folders within mm itll show all files there.
when hitting autosynch all is transferred though.
so a simple mm restart forces it to reread the device and perform incremmental synch.
easy 2 reproduce
if thats the cause maybe devs will consider a small fix to check if the device storage is accessible before attempting to read a list.

examplewise my android audioplayer (deadbeef) is capable of playing back lots of formats that the monkey will convert, as i cant specify the format as supported. if i leave compatible formats blank all is synched as is. i need to specify some formats as wma and m4a aint supported.
to make it short, the input_plugin added formats could appear in the synch format setup screen as well. just to name some: it, hvl, s3m, sid...
