Issues with MMA

Issues I have found so far

1. Wifi sync way too slow
2. Playlists don't sync correctly - some are ok, some are incomplete and some are empty
3. needs it's own codecs
4. since I have installed the latest beta versions of MMA and MMW when I plug my device in via USB it is not even recognized by MMW, hence preventing me from getting around the problems with wifi sync

NB not that MMW has ever worked well with my android devices, sometimes it syncs ok, sometimes I get errors (on the same files), with no explanation of what the error is or why the files did not sync

I have percivered with MM for a while now in hope that eventually it will catch up to the android world but am starting to get fed up with it

I have a gold licence for MMW but am starting to be a disgruntled customer.

Come on guys, you are way behind in the android market, if you don't get it there soon I think I will have to ditch MM all together

As I write this post seems as though the list of issues is growing, wifi sync is syncing album art even though I have this option unchecked in the settings for this particular device.

I will add any further issues, that is if I don't break my device in frustration of MM not working correctly....EVER

I wish I could get a refund for my Gold Licence, I would use the money to buy something that works and keeps up with current technology

What device do you use?

Motorola Atrix phone running android 2.3.4

Nexus 7 tablet - android 4.2.1 - not that I have experimented with this device much yet as I am more interested in getting MM to sync with my phone

There isn't a real process to submit bugs to the developers for MMA (other than build in reports and mentioning issues here), but you're working with beta versions of MediaMonkey and bugs are common in beta versions.

For MMW USB sync you can capture the sync (including the connecting of the device) in a debug log (step 4b) and send it to support: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... f=21&t=341

Wifi sync actually working pretty well with the Nexus 7 at the moment, not sure where it's putting playlists though.

Still struugling to get it working on the Atrix. Has been quite frustrating actually but it is not the first instance of this phone doing weird stuff
