remove songs from playlist

Just wondering why this is listed as an unsolved issue?
I've been able to remove songs from playlists for last 3 or 4 updates,

Just press playlist to open it, then select tracks, then find song you want off list, then press and hold song to get it to select, then go to top of page and press on the trash can icon. it is then removed from list, to remove from now playing open now playing list and do the press and hold on the song in list to select the song the press the trash can icon.

Simple to do on android.
