I'm trying to do what the subject line suggests. I went to the help Wiki and tried to follow the instructions, but I guess I don't understand them. First I put the songs of the several desired albums into one playlist and burned it. All songs wound up in a single folder called Music. I tried again, creating separate playlists for each album. Same result.
I'm trying to follow these instructions, but I don't understand the terms:
Enable 'Burn .m3u Playlists' to burn .m3u playlist files for the nodes that you've selected
Organize playlists using 'prefix for each playlist type' will cause all playlists to be burnt to a single directory, and playlists for a specific Artist will be prefixed by the word 'Artist - '. If you organize the playlists using 'directory for each playlist type' then playlists will be organized into multiple directories. The latter is more usable, but the former may be preferable for devices with poor navigation tools.
I did choose "directory for each playlist type", but I don't know what a type is. There's a dropdown ... should I call each playlist a different type, as in "music", "podcast", "Video", etc?
I'm using version 4.0.7.1511, unregistered.
Thanks,
Nick

Just change the burn destination to include <Album> folders.
Basically just stick a "<Album>\" (no quotes) at the beginning of your destination field.

Thanks. Does that mean I *can* put all the songs into one big playlist and then following your instructions I'll get a separate folder for each album in the playlist?

Re: Putting albums into separate folders on MP3 CD
To follow up, I did successfully burn a CD with tracks organized into folders for each album. Also, I put all tracks into one big playlist - didn't have to make separate playlists.
Specifically, at the point in the Wizard saying "choose disk format", I checked "Burn Playlist Tracks To:" and then clicked the "configure" box. In the next panel that popped up, I changed "main directory" from 'music\playlist\ to just '\' (backslash), hoping to avoid getting nested too deep,
and in the "subdirectories" box I put <Album>.
Thanks,
Nick
