4.1.0.x: Sync issue with iPod touch (2nd Gen) and iOS 4.2.1

Starting with the dev builds for 4.1 and up to build 1619 I experience issues syncing Music and Playlists with my 2ng Gen iPod touch:

Music synced with 4.0.7.1511 is not recognized anymore in 4.1 versions and MM want to remove these files. By doing so only a handfull of files get successfully synced (or remain on the device). My Playlists are still there but now full of the same duplicate entry. Some Playlists show 2 or more files but in generally that means that MM has deselected a lot of files during the sync process (although disk space in the device configuration panel seems to be calculated correctly and the Playlists in MM still show all the files).

For now I'm back to 4.0.7.1511 which works fine. I have the latest iTunes 11.0.1.12 installed.

No change with build 1622 for me.

MM still removes nearly all files from the ipod touch that were synced with 4.0 before.
