Bug or meant to happen

Post by merlin »

Hi, I have my player set to auto rotate for the screen, when I turn the player to or from Landscape to portrait or visa versa I get the message shuffle enabled if it is on, should this be happening?
I would like to see the shuffle and repeat buttons on the bottom row either side of the back, play/pause, forward buttons or somewhere on that row instead of the autohide ones at present.
That said it works great :D

Rotation seems to do a refresh (which is notable in sync screen), this is maybe why you see the notification.

I agree with your second point. The shuffle and repeat buttons should be consistently shown in 1 location. There appears to be plenty of space.

That may not be the case for smaller screen devices.

for smaller devices this might be true. But consistency is what makes a good UI work. Users should expect the same behavior/look with devices. This is one of the biggest problems with Win8. It works/acts differently from phone/tablet than on computer because there it expects touch screen. I would *think* that the size of the screen might be identified by the device. Yes?

I don't follow, it seems you're saying you want it to look the same no matter what screen size, yet still want something that may not work on a smaller screen. I personally can't check how things look on small screen devices as my smallest screen is 5.1".
