Wishlist: favorite folders in UPnP

I use MM Android for playing my PC MM through my phone. Love it mostly.
Love the player, selecting files, etc. but navigating to my files is a bit of a hassle.

There are so many ways to navigate: audiobook, music video, podcast, etc....
But I personally navigate by Location.
So I have to make 5-6 taps before I get to my destination folder.
Not impossible, but I would LOVE to be able to long press a folder and be able to save it to a favorites tab.
So the next time I press UPnP on main screen, I'd have the option of going to a Favorites folder in addition to the other 8 selections (Audiobook, Classical, etc.)

It'd just make things quicker.

But again, love what I got so far!

BubbleUPnP has this. It's handy.

As a work around, you can create an additional shares on the desktop side, each that only gives access to a specific folder. That reduces the navigation on the device side somewhat.

Right, BOOKMARKS! That's what I want.

But I want to keep using MM!

Also, CACHING.
Would it be easy to add caching to MM Android? I personally don't want to designate what files to sync, too much trouble.
I'd rather just play it over my phone then have it there until I choose to delete it.

Also, when playing over UPnP, I notice my screen will occasionally just turn on to the lockscreen. Maybe when a new song comes on. Is there a way to turn this off?

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I wasn't recommending switching to BubbleUPnP. Just pointing out to any devs that may read this that this functionality has been demonstrated in another app, so it's feasible in Android, and agreeing with you that it's a useful feature.

The work around I'm suggesting allows you to replicate the functionality of having favorites in MMA without actually having favorites. I'll write out some steps if you're not seeing how to do that.

If you set up a smart playlist in MMW that populated itself with, say, the 100 most recently played tracks and then periodically wifi synced that to MMA, would that be similar to caching what you played over UPnP? I haven't really thought that through. Just throwing it out there.
