Mapping for HTC Rezound

Post by TonyUniopolis »

Having an issue while setting up my HTC Rezound for Wi-Fi syncing. I do not get multiple connections for internal and external storage. I believe that this is due to the file structure that is used on the Rezound.

Path '/sdcard/' is the internal additional storage for the device. This is configures when the device first connects.

Path '/sdcard2/' is the external SD card storage. This path also seems to be accessible via '/sdcard/ext_sd/' . This location is where my media is stored and does not auto config when attached.

Is there a way for me to add this manually? or does this info only come from a table in the MMA app?

Thanks,
Bill

I'm in the same boat with the same phone. I can specify the SD card for UPNP downloads, but I can't do that for wi-fi sync. So all downloads go to the (almost full) main memory instead of the (almost empty) SD card. Can we change the default music directory and/or the playlist sync directory like we can the UPNP download directory?

Download (eg. sync) location is set in the Device Profile in MMW (not on MMA).

Isn't it MMA that creates separate profiles for the separate locations?
Remember when Last.fm had those cool imagegen charts for use in signatures?

Aha, that seems to work - though figuring out which Device Profile was relevant took some trial & error.
