MMA controls stop working after screen locks [#10874]

Hi

I am really pleased the MediaMonkey has come to Android.

If I pause the player and the screen locks itself, after a further minute the controls on the lock screen stop working and I have to unlock the screen to get it to start. I also have the same problem when I have a bluetooth headset connected. If the phone is locked I can stop and start the player with the headset but if I leave it paused for more than a minute the player won't start and the screen lock controls won't start it either.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and I have MediaMokey 1.0.4.0127

MMA is entering power save mode where it is removed from Memory to preserve battery.

I would also like to be able to restart playing tracks as soon as the Bluetooth is reconnected without having to start MediaMonkey manually, is this possible? The default player on the phone already does this.

For that You use PLUGIN manager (see my posts for link) it is working flawlessly.

Also I really have fun with NFC tags too.

Sorry for asking a dumb question, but I did search all your posts for a plugin manager and did not find anything. Maybe I'm being dense but I would like to set up an NFC tag to start MMA wireless sync.

MMA do not have own API so that External apps can execute internal commands like sync start, this is something that may be available in future.

I see, and thank-you for the link. All of that can be done with Tasker.

I would really be interested in third party support like Tasker: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... kerm&hl=en, and NFC Task Launcher: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... cher&hl=en. Calling up tasks like MMA sync, or connect to UPnP server with NFC would be awesome.
