Is it okay to have 2 installation of MM (2 portable or 1port/1not portable)? Or will they interfere with one another? What I would really like to do is have one installed locally for music and the other as portable on an external drive for audiobooks. (I've tried having them in one installation , but the db gets too big and sluggish). If it is possible, is it possible to have them open at the same time? Finally, I had 2 portables before and I seem to recall having problems with some of the plugins (Monkeyrok didn't work; another didn't want to install to portable directory, etc.) - is this still an issue?
Thanks

Run File > Maintain Library with complete optimization enabled. This may speed things up for you (how many files in total do you have?).
Running 2 Portable Installs should be no issue as they should have everything contained within their own install folder.

Well, the reason I would like to have one regular install is so I could get monkeyrok working for music collection. Doesn't seem to function with my current portable installation. I wouldn't need it for audio.

Re: Multiple Installations
That should work (however I'd rather use all Portable Installs).
