Can't find sync server / UPnP server...

Hi All,

Been using MM for quite some time getting my music organized. My problem is the wireless syncing. I think I have everything set up properly in both MMW and MMA. When I hit Sync Now on Android, it pulls up Select Sync Server, but it never finds it, just says <Searching...>

I'm sure I'm missing something simple. Help!!! And thanks in advance.

Does UPnP work in MMA?

In MMW make sure a Media Server is enabled and that content to be synced is enabled to be shared in the Media Server (Tools > Options > Media Servers).
In MMW make sure that wifi sync is enabled in the Device Profile and that you've set some content to be synced (Tools > Options > Portable Device Sync).
On your network make sure that both devices are on the same network (eg. MMA is not on a guest/cellular network without access to local network).

Thanks for the quick response.

UPnP does seem to be working in MMA. I can see both media servers that are in MMW.

The problem is, my music is not in either. The 2 servers shown are RAY-PC:Tonya and RAY-PC:Ray, but the servers and folders in them are basically empty. If it makes a difference, my music is in C:/Music..., as opposed to the usual My Music folder (like C:/Users/Ray...)

Everything else you asked me to confirm is good.

Is it just that I don't have the music in the right place so I can't see it?

If you don't see music in UPnP on MMA you should configure your Media Server in MMW (Tools > Options > Media Servers) and make sure your music is shared.
