Emusic

Post by Freexe »

When I'm doing a preview of music on the music site emusic.com. When the sample (about 10 seconds) finishes the player just stops playing and doesn't move onto the next track.

Is this an issue with emusic or is it something you can fix?

Not sure if you will beable to access this, but here is a link to a sample album playlist:

Unfortunatelly I can't test this URL. Should you or anyone else have any more information, let me know.

I get a 404 error so can't test this either.
Download my scripts at my own MediaMonkey fansite.

Same problem - no solution, unfortunately

Just so you don't think you're alone - I have the same frustrating experience. The odd thing is that it didn't always behave this way. I'm not sure if something changed with an MM update or in the way that eMusic distributes the samples.

I've tried a few workarounds like saving the samples to a playlist to see if they would play contiguously once they were in that format or saving them into an .m3u but to no avail.

Hopefully someone who uses both services who knows more than we do about this stuff will resolve this for us!

Thx for raising the first voice on the matter--

Try to save the playlist (m3u files are playlists) from eMusic. You can send that playlist to support so they can have a look at it. It might have something to do with how the playlists are written by eMusic.
