Selection bugs [#11997]
In the library, when you have a field selected, if you try to select all group (album, series etc.) by clicking under the column the field is in, Mediamonkey "thinks" that you want to edit the field for the last file in the group. Here's an illustration:

Re: Selecting all group if a field is already selected
I just tried with MediaMonkey 4.1.1 and can't reproduce. Which version are you using?

Re: Selecting all group if a field is already selected
4.1.1.1702, but it also happened in previous versions. Did you first select a field (the one with a dotted line on screenshot)? Did you click the space directly under the same column as the selected field (under other columns won't do)?Lowlander wrote:I just tried with MediaMonkey 4.1.1 and can't reproduce. Selection bugs
1.If no field in a group is selected, when you click a space at the top of the group (above the first row), the group seems selected (though it's not how my skin usually selects a group), but the files in it don't get selected.

2.If a field in a group is selected, when you click a space at the top of the group directly above the field, Mediamonkey starts editing the field. But if you click a space at the top of the group that's not directly above the field, the field that's directly below your cursor (but in the same row as the first selected field) gets selected.
Illustration:

3.In the "Video" node, if you right click a field in a group and then left click any other field in the group, all the files in the group get selected.
Note1: This doesn't always work on groups with less than 3 files.
Note2: if it didn't work the first time, try again.

Tested on builds 1702, 1703.
