Playlists disappears [#12144]

If i add titles to a new playlist in MMA and then restart MMA the new playlist is nowhere to be found. The mp3's are still there in the folders but the new playlist is gone. This problem started a few days ago. I believe there were an update but not sure.

I use MMA version 1.0.7.0295 on a Samsung S5

Android 4.4? Are the files on the external card?

Android 4.4.2 and the files are on a external card. Can't delete files from the external card within MMA either.

I suggest you send a log from About screen right after you've added the files to the Playlist as well as one after restarting MMA. You may want to add log IDs here for reference.

Hi, it is now fixed in new beta builds of MMA and MMW. You need both. Please let us know.

Does this mean I need to use MMW when transfering music to my phone?

If you're saving content to the external sd card, then yes. Android 4.4 restricts access to sd card content on a per application basis.
