Nevermind guys. I got it. There was an option to change the download from a zip to "all files" before downloading. I guess that did it. I didn't do anything else different. Double clicked and it did just what it should. A blind squirrel gets a nut once in a while huh.

Thanks ALL,

I was having the same issues as IE created a zip folder. I was also unable to see the extension at the folder level. Finding this Posting was Awasomm! In File explorer Under View Tab I found a box file extension and I checked it, changed the .zip to .mmip and the folder transformed to a single file and when double clicked presto, like Majic it installed in Media Monkey.

Had it not been for the question asked and your efforts I would still be Beffuddled and lost in the computer world.

Thanks Again job well done!

The above is for Win 8.

In XP:

My Computer or within any folder > Tools > Folder Options > View > Hide extensions for known
file types (is Unchecked, not checked)

In 7:

same or Organize instead of Tools.
