MMA 395 syncing only first 1939 tracks [#12591]

Hi - as of the latest build or two of MMA, I seem to only be getting Wi-Fi sync for tracks up to the letter I, anything after this just doesn't get synced and I get the message that everything is in sync when I try to sync again. I installed the latest non-beta MMA and this seemed to work fine so it looks like it's a MMA issue. I'm using an HTC One phone which reports that I have 1939 (should be around 5000 if all were synced correctly) tracks with 14174 MB available on /storage/emulated/0. I have uploaded logs ref: OIUWTK60ZE. MMW is 4.1.6.1728.

Yes, there was a regression in current build. Thank you for report. I have fixed it. Please try build 396 or newer...it will be available soon.

Hi - I've just tried build 396 and it fixes the problem - though I've had to do about 20 syncs to install all of the 5000 odd tracks. Every sync seems to do a smaller and smaller subset of the outstanding songs to download (i.e. first sync was 1000ish, then 900ish, then 800ish etc.) - not sure if this is a fault or by design? I've uploaded the logs under reference TJN0O4AMIC anyway should you want to look at them.

Hi, it looks like some connection issues. We try to download each file twice and then we interrupt the sync. Please could you tell me what message was displayed at the end of the incomplete sync?

Could you please also send me another log right after the incomplete sync? The log you sent was done after other syncs that were ok and I do not see the previous that failed I would like to be sure about the cause. We are now working on some improvements.

Hi - I've deleted the content of Mediamonkey/files as well as the content of Music, Podcasts and Playlists on the Android phone. The server is running MMW 1733, the Android phone MMA 399. There are 5092 files on the server to download.
1st sync - just get the message at the end "Updated 15 tracks" - I've uploaded logs following this as NLMVIUU5XA

Thank you very much for such research! We have most probably found the cause:

MMW probably invalidly guess number of tracks according device free space. But we still need more info and I have again some questions:

1. Do You use autoconversion of tracks ? What kind of target format do you use ?
2. Could you please generate a MMW log too. You don't have to do so many syncs. Only one incomplete wifi sync is enough (e.g. something like 6th sync in your test).

Hi

I've just done a sync of 935 tracks - message on mma following sync was "Downloaded 935 track(s); Downloaded 7 playlist(s)". I've uploaded the MMA log with ref X2JGS5L5OD and you can download the MMW debug log here.

I have an auto-conversion rule (for this device) to convert any audio to WMA using Codec: WMA Pro; VBR; VBR Quality 60%; Sample rate 44100Hz; Channels - Stereo. Sync random subset of selected files up to device capacity is not checked.

Thanks. We confirmed that the problem was related to incorrect calculation of space taken by tracks being auto-converted to WMA Pro. This should be resolved in MMW build 1736.
