Album art not showing on Zen Vision:M

Post by Vasquez »

Hi All,

I purchased a gold copy of MM yesterday (a fab bit of software) but can't get it to transfer album art to my Zen Vision:M

I used the Amazon auto tag feature and tagged the MP3 files, but once I've sync'd with the Zen, it won't show any of the art.

I deleted the files from the Zen and sync'd using Creative MediaSource (another piece of Creative Bloatware) and that does make the album art show, so I guess this is a MM issue.

I've seen others complaining of this at epiZENter.net

Regards
Vaz

You might want to search the forum to see if this has been discussed. Especially the Device Synchornization forum is of help with this.

Synch Zen Vision

Post by rusty »

Hi,

I tested this with the Zen Vision, and cannot reproduce the bug. Album Art synchs for MP3 tracks that have it embedded in tags and for tracks that have it linked.

Note: I tested with firmware version 1.30.02.

I just got my Zen Vision:M on Friday and have a similar issue. I have all of my music tagged with album art but only some of it shows on the device. I have yet to find any consistent pattern to explain why this is happening. I have been able to add some of the missing album art after tagging with different resolutions/sizes but there is still no pattern to when it works and when it doesn't. A 300x300 image may work for one album but not for another.

Any suggestions would be appreciated...

Hi All,

Apologies for not replying sooner.

I've managed to get this working now.

It seems the ZVM won't display Album Art unless the "Album Artist" tag is populated.

I hope this helps.
