Hi all...
I see variants of this here, but what I want is for MediaMonkey for Android to NOT scan media folders when my phone starts up. It seems to do it every time, and takes a long time to complete.
Is there any way to ONLY scan manually, NOT automatically, NOT at phone startup, NOT at MM startup?
I don't want to have to remove the media folders from the list of scanned folders - I just want it only to scan when I tell it to.

Hi,
Not at this time as MMA responds to Change Media Events from Google Media Scanner. Once we implement our own scanner then it would be possible to add such option.

Re: How to disable Android startup background folder scanning task?
So, for awhile now, it appears that MMA is using it's own scanner (it's asking if I want to scan now or postpone).
Is it true that I'm seeing MMA's own scan task? And if so, how do I make it manual only, and stop it asking if I want it to run on phone start?

It's not for it's own scanner, but changes in Android cause this message to show for SD cards on device reboot. You can postpone, but can't disable the message.
