Possible to add multiple tags for a single field ?

Hey guys. I'm pretty sure this is not possible but figured I'd give it a shot anyway. I'd like to add multiple tags for one single field.

For example, the majority of my music is Rock and the band Black Sabbath is tagged as such. However, I'd also like to tag that band as Classic Rock so I guess that would be a sub genre.

Another example would be adding multiple albums for a single track. The song Big Shot by Billy Joel is on the album 52nd Street but the track is also on Greatest Hits Vol. 1 & 2 so I'd like to add both albums. The ability to do this would benefit for soundtracks & greatest hits albums.

Rock; Classic Rock would associate both Genre's with the file. Artist and Album Artist also accept multiple values as long as you use the delimiter (default is ; (semi-colon)). Album is not a multi-value field.

Thanks for your help. I'm not sure what the delimiter is but I'm not looking to include multiple values for Artist & Album Artist. I'm looking to add multiple values in the Album field.

A semi-colon - ; - is the standard delimiter in all fields in the MP3 system which MM uses.

Album field is not Multi value field according to specs and it would add more confusion than solution.

So it's possible to add multiple values using ";" in Genre but not Album ?

Correct, the problem with Album is that other tags may be incorrect (like Date, Track# and Disc#) when having multiple values, whereas this isn't a problem with other multi-value fields.
