Apes are not monkeys. (registration comment)

Post by MonkeysUncle »

When I just registered, I was required to take the (bot-proof) "monkey test".
Unfortunately, I had to answer wrong to register. :(
Orangutans and chimpazees are not monkeys.

Yeah, I noticed that too, it probably is a little too hard for some people, when I tried it out, I just put anything that looked like a monkey. But you are probably right, maybe some changes need to be made.

I think most people get the idea that any kind of monkey (be it chimp, ape or other) counts as a monkey for this test. Why diss the monkeys!?! :-?

For those that don't know the difference (just like it was in my case):
- Monkeys have tails
- Apes do not have tails

Here (and probably in all non-native English speaking countries) they're all called monkeys.

BTW: Anyone likes the ska/reggae band "The Monkeys"? Or the song "Monkeys" from "Mad Caddies" (also a ska band), one of my "funny favourites"? :D

no you guys are missing out.

you need to go get the songs from the orginal monkee's band

" The Monkee's , Mike, Mickey, Davy, and Peter. " 8)

and if you ever get to watch any of the tv shows you'll
laugh at the slap stick style of comedy.

it might be hard to follow at times. reason being is that they
would make a joke out of almost anything. :D

just be warned it is not slow. that show changed trains of thought so fast at times it would make your head spin trying to keep up.
