Good day,
When I choose manual scan it IMMEDIATELY returns a result, clearly no scan is being run. It has found no new tracks that have been added in the last 15 minutes because, again, clearly it is not scanning. It just says that a scan is run and that nothing has changed on the DB. "Search and Update Took 00:00". This is a new problem that just materialized overnight, my computer "updated and restarted" and now that doesn't work. Oddly, I can still go into MediaMonkey, delete a file, and it will delete the file out of the folder, but when I put a file back into the folder it won't see it. I have it set to monitor the folder continuously but it isn't monitoring any changes coming FROM the folder.
I updated to the most recent version of MM (2821) closed the app completely, closed background processes, restarted, restarted the computer. Nothing has changed this completely random and new error. It's just like "naw son, you aren't adding new music to this folder no more."
Please help.

Scan seems to work normally for me when using build 2821.
You can see the folder names flashing in the status line at the bottom.
The reason it might say nothing found is because you have it set to monitor continuously, so the song has already been added before you run the scan. I tested that and copying in a new track it was added immediately without a scan.
The only thing else I can think of is to make sure the folder you are adding songs to is in fact included in the scan parameters.

Are you sure the correct locations are set to be scanned? Presumably yes, as they delete, but do files still play in MediaMonkey?

That was it! Somehow my file directory had been changed to C: from D:/music. Not sure how it was able to delete files from the D: drive but regardless the scan is working again.
