Is there a fix for continuous scanning yet?
I am using MMA Version 2.0.5.1248 with a 500G SD card.
The problem started following a phone restart after the phone crashed.
Any help appreciated

Doesn't look like anyone can help but there has been progress...
I noticed the endless scans were showing 52k comes, which is twice as many as the real file count of 26k. I also noticed the old filenames were greyed out and the same files found (without any corrections in their metadata), this was also true of the playlists (I had hundreds), the old ones were still there but grey and replacement ones (same names) were empty.
This did not seem a good way forward as all the data updates, playlists etc were broken and the scanning continued. My guess at this point was the SD Card had got it's path renamed after the phone restart?
I killed the MMA App and waited for the latest beta update, then tried again. I also restarted the phone so the SD card memory was checked by the Android OS at startup.
This seemed good and I kept an eye on that first scan that seemed to be replacing the original files and original playlists so I started to be optimistic that the MMA database could be repairing itself. However, the scanning restarted as soon as it had completed and then I noticed it was now scanning a total of 78k files, that is now 3 times the real total.
It would seem that I have to delete the old database and start again but I really don't want to lose all the data from the original database, all the file corrections and updates I've made manually over the past few years and my playlists...
Think I'll go back to VLC and give up correcting anything in future, just live with the original file info as that's all that's left once MMA fails.
If there's any real help here please let me know.

MMA 2.1 is around the corner and has numerous scanning/DB improvements. Can you let us know if the issue persists once it becomes available (hopefully later this week).
