Wont copy music to android

Hello, im having issues syncing music to my pixel phone or any android phone, it looks like everything is working fine, it shows copying files, but nothing actually gets copied to the device or any folders created
i'm using 2024.2.0.3166 with windows 10

How are you verifying the files aren't on the device? Are you doing a wifi or USB Sync when it fails, and if you use the other method does it still fail?

Im using usb sync. I checked the phone via Windows file explorer and also a file explorer on the phone. I also tried setting MM to sync to different locations but didnt matter. Im not able to try wifi sync because i dont have access to the android app without google play services

Please capture the Sync in a debug log (step 4b) and attach the log to a Support Ticket: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=86643

This will help a developer analyze why this happens on your setup.

To close this issue, the problem was that the MMA/MMW didn't have write access to the paths specified in the sync profile and so files were instead being synced to e.g.
\Android\data\com.ventismedia.android.mediamonkey\files\Music\96 Tears.mp3
\Android\data\com.ventismedia.android.mediamonkey\files\Playlists\777777777777777777777777777777.m3u
